EU says delays decision on Air France-KLM deal
BRUSSELS, Aug 20 (Reuters) - The European Commission on Wednesday delayed its ruling on a planned purchase by Air France (AIRF.PA: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) unit KLM of all of Martinair Holland, in which it already held a 50-percent interest.
The review procedure has been extended by 10 working days, the Commission said in a statement.
Martinair offers charter and scheduled serivces and also specialises in freight services. (Reporting by Huw Jones, editing by David Brunnstrom)
