Daiichi Sankyo to cancel 3.5 pct of own shares
TOKYO, Aug 29 (Reuters) - Daiichi Sankyo Co Ltd (4568.T: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said on Friday it would cancel 3.54 percent, or 26 million, of its outstanding shares on Sept. 8.
Japan's third-largest drugmaker will have 709 million shares outstanding after the cancellation, including 5 million shares that it holds, it said. (Reporting by Yumiko Nishitani)
