WARSAW, Oct 16 (Reuters) - Poland may miss its target to raise 2.3 billion zlotys ($893.2 million) in privatisation revenues earmarked in this year's budget, a deputy treasury minister said on Thursday.

"There is a risk that we will not meet this figure," Michal Chyczewski told TVN CNBC business channel in an interview.

The centre-right government had hoped to raise more than twice the budgeted amount from sell-offs of state assets this year as it moved to jump-start privatisation that stalled under its predecessors.

But its ambitious plans were stifled by numerous delays and weakening market conditions.

Poland had hoped for the bulk of its inflows to come from sales of its remaining stakes in bank Pekao BAPE.WA and telecoms group TPSA TPSA.WA, but the sales are not expected to happen any time soon. (Reporting by Piotr Skolimowski)
