CALGARY, Alberta, Aug 29 (Reuters) - Suncor Energy Inc's (SU.TO: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) Sarnia, Ontario, refinery will produce about 65 percent of its normal fuel volumes during six weeks of planned maintenance that starts next week, a spokesman said on Friday.

Gasoline production at the 70,000 barrel a day plant will drop during the work, but output of distillates including diesel and jet fuel will be about normal, Suncor spokesman Jason Vaillant said.

Vaillant declined to say which processing units will be down for maintenance.

"But we have made arrangements to make sure all of our customer arrangements are met," he said.

The work is scheduled to start on Tuesday. (Reporting by Jeffrey Jones; Editing by Ka Yan Ng)
