Denmark and Spain to hold minute's silence for crash
COPENHAGEN (Reuters) - A minute's silence will be held before Wednesday's friendly in Copenhagen between Denmark and Spain after a plane crashed in Madrid, the Danish FA announced on their website (www.dbu.dk).
The Spanair plane, bound for Las Palmas in the Canary Islands and carrying 173 people, crashed on takeoff and burst into flames. The Spanish government say at least 100 people died in the crash.
The players will wear black armbands during the game, the DBU said.
