May 14 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals involving European, U.S. and Asian companies were reported by 2000 GMT on Wednesday.

** Deutsche Telekom (DTEGn.DE: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) has bought 25 percent in Greece's OTE (OTEr.AT: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) for 3.2 billion euros ($5 billion) after weeks of negotiating, boosting its presence in southeast Europe's telecoms market. ** TomTom (TOM2.AS: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), the world's biggest maker of car navigation devices, won unconditional permission from the European Commission to buy its main map supplier, Tele Atlas TA.AS, for 2.9 billion euros ($4.5 billion). [nL14788826]

** British retailer Tesco Plc's (TSCO.L: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) South Korean unit will buy 36 discount stores from local rival E-Land Ltd for 1.95 trillion won ($1.87 billion), a spokeswoman at the Tesco unit said. [nSEL000087]

** Belarus may cede a controlling share in state bank Belinvestbank to Germany's Commerzbank AG (CBKG.DE: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) within four months and give up control of a second bank, Belpromstroibank, the head of the central bank said. [nL14823097]

** Accenture Ltd (ACN.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said it has agreed to acquire video services company Origin Digital Inc, in a deal aimed at helping the consulting firm's clients grow their digital media revenue. [nWNAS4082]

** The First International Bank of Israel (FTIN5.TA: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said it completed the acquisition of a controlling stake in Bank Massad from Bank Hapoalim (POLI.TA: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) for 236 million shekels ($69 million). [nL14848368]

** Singapore Airlines (SIAL.SI: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), the world's second-biggest airline by market value, said it was open to offers for its 49 percent stake in Richard Branson's trans-Atlantic airline Virgin Atlantic [VA.UL]. [nSP80020]

** SK Telecom Co (017670.KS: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), South Korea's top mobile operator, said it was holding preliminary discussions with Virgin Mobile USA (VM.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) over SK's U.S. mobile business Helio. [nSEO272260]

** German utility RWE (RWEG.DE: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) is interested in winning a 49 percent stake in Bulgaria's Belene nuclear power plant, a company official said on Wednesday, denying media reports that it might withdraw. [nL14109443]

** Media group Agora AGOD.WA bought all shares in Polish Internet portal Trader.com for 119.5 million zlotys ($54.7 million) from Turkish media group Hurriyet (HURGZ.IS: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), the company said in a statement. [nWAR006867]

** Hunan Nonferrous Metals Corp Ltd (2626.HK: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), China's top zinc producer, plans to pay up to $77 million for control of Abra Mining Ltd (AII.AX: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), an Australian lead, zinc, gold and silver mining firm in which it already has a 17.8 percent stake. ** Israel's Strauss Group (STRS.TA: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said it agreed to acquire from Italy's Doncafe its operations in Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia for 7.5 million euros ($11.60 million). [nL14772203]
