India Dr Reddy's gets FDA nod for trandolapril tabs

MUMBAI, Aug 29 (Reuters) - Indian drugmaker Dr Reddy's Laboratories Ltd (REDY.BO: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) (RDY.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) has received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for trandolapril tablets, the regulator's website showed.

The drug is a generic version of Abbott Laboratories' (ABT.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) Mavik tablets, indicated in the treatment of hypertension. (Reporting by Rina Chandran; Editing by Ranjit Gangadharan)
