NEW YORK (Reuters) - Shares of Merrill Lynch & Co Inc (MER.N: Quote, Profile, Research) fell before the opening bell on Thursday after Oppenheimer & Co analyst Meredith Whitney slashed her earnings outlook for the investment bank.
Merrill shares fell 2.3 percent to $43.42 in pre-market trading.
