Merrill says plans 5-year euro benchmark bond

LONDON, May 14 (Reuters) - U.S. investment bank Merrill Lynch (MER.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said on Wednesday it planned to sell a five-year euro benchmark bond.

Merrill Lynch is sole lead manager for the bond.

Merrill Lynch & Co is rated A+ by both Fitch Ratings and Standard & Poor's and A1 by Moody's Investors Service.
