NEW YORK (Reuters) - Canadian Gold miner Kinross Gold Corp. (K.TO: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) on Monday said it expects costs related to the expansion of the Paracatu mine in Brazil to be at the high end of its prior forecast of $400 million to $500 million.
Speaking at the Reuters Global Mining and Steel Summit in New York, Tye Burt, chief executive of Kinross, said the expansion would increase throughput substantially.
