LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - CV Therapeutics Inc. (CVTX.O: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) Chief Executive Louis Lange said on Thursday that an experimental asthma drug that the biotechnology company is developing could become a "blockbuster."
The drug, known at the company as CVT-6883, is in early stage human trials, he told the Reuters Biotechnology Summit in Los Angeles.
The drug is designed to work by blocking a receptor that triggers the inflammatory response in asthma.
